Privacy policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

At ASoc we believe good privacy is part of good product. This policy explains the personal information we collect when you use asoc.io and our services, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

It applies to everyone who visits our website, creates an account, makes a purchase, or contacts our team. If you have any questions, you can always reach us at hello@asoc.io.

Personal information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — such as your name, email address, billing details, and anything you include when you contact support. We also collect limited technical information automatically, including your IP address, browser type, device, and how you interact with our pages.

When you make a purchase, payment details are handled by our payment processors. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the information needed to provide your order, but we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.

How we use your personal information

We use your information to deliver the products and services you ask for, process payments, send essential account and transactional messages, and provide support. We also use it to keep ASoc secure and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.

With your consent, we may send occasional product updates and offers. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. We use aggregated, anonymised data to understand how our products are used and to improve them.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run ASoc — such as hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processing — and only to the extent they need it to perform their work.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of ASoc, our users, or the public. If ASoc is ever involved in a merger or acquisition, data may be transferred as part of that transaction under the same protections.

Do not track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, ASoc does not currently change its behaviour based on them. We do, however, respect cookie and consent preferences you set on our site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, and request a portable copy. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account or by contacting us.

We will respond to verified requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your data properly.

Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it to provide our services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Minors

ASoc is intended for use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as our products and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
